Amazing museum, it's not too large so actually managable to visit, great selection of modern with a bit of contemporary art. Not big, but enough. The wooden features of the building make you feel relaxed compared to other museums. It's an overall experience rather than coming to see certain works. More

Unfortunately I don't like the art they exhibit, which is very contemporary: there is some wonderful Andy Warhol stuff there but it looks almost old fashioned compared to most of the other works. The museum of modern art in Frankfurt is better. We went to see the Warhols and Hirst, and because we had this fantastic ticket which gave us entrance to the Brandshorst and all the three pinatotheks for just 12 euros.
