Too bad part of it had screens over one of the towers due to renovations.
Restaurant inside seemed nice, but saw lots of mice.
Could have some lighting at night. But still, impressive construction - great pictures.
Did not go up on the tower.

The outside and bell tower is interesting. Be sure to be there at 11:00 AM for the bell tower show. Don't miss Ratskeller for the experience if not the food

I thought the building was old- but it is the new Town Hall. It is where everyone (tourist) meet to take pictures. Also they have private citizens that give tours. Go toward the front of the Rathaus and look for someone holding up a sign for the tour you want. If you do not speak German make sure you get...

If you are waling along Marienplatz just keep going. Magnificent architecture with some whimsy to it. Just check the facade as there isn't much to look at inside.

At 12 am play the glockenspiel figures in the Neues Rathaus their typical dance. IN the second half of the 18th century decided the rulers of the city to construct a new city hall. 24 houses were demolished in order to fulfill the project and were built between 1867 till 1908.

When we got off the underground & took the steps up to the Marienplatz, I was totally mesmerised by this building! It is one of the most beautiful rathauses I've ever seen. So much detail! Take some time to wait for the Glockenspiel, it is slow & take about 15 minutes, but so worth it.
