The day I was there a rehersal was in progress for the evenings performance; a suprano singing with an orchestra. It was one of the highlights of my trip. October 2008.

I spent a pleasant afternoon touring the Residenz complex which was home to the Wittelsbach family for hundreds of years. I paused when I learned that it cost extra to see the Cuvillies Theater, but decided to spend the extra 4 Euros anyway and am very glad I did. The place is magnificent.
