I went on the Agnes Dürer Tour of the house. It was about an hour long, the guide spoke very clear English, and the hostess used a lot of dramatic art to role-play her part. It´s definitely a fun way to change up the routine of tours from the drab everyday facts. For those in a rush or for more... more

As a rabid fan of Albrecht Durer and his art, a visit to his house in Nuremberg was an enormous treat for me. The evening before we visited the house I had almost made up my mind not to go - my idea was just to look at the exterior and not "spoil" my image of what it might be... more
