If you're catching the train, get off at the first station - and head to the documentation centre first. It makes it easier to find from the train. There are signs and a series of tall metal boards displaying the walk around the grounds. A MUST if in Nuremberg. More

The rally grounds are massive in size, though have been mostly converted into parkland, a parking lot, or recreational areas. It's worth strolling around to get a feel for how large the area was, particularly if it's a nice day, though there isn't too much left for the history buff. More
