This is a magical shop - the displays are breathtaking and must have taken forever to put together, good for cuckoo clocks too.

We visited this museum on Christmas day.We were five adults with three young children so the visit was a must. The kids were fascinated by the ornaments and the decorations. The christmas mood made us more nostalgic, so all this added to the whole experience. Yet ,this museum remains open all year round .The same happens with a number of small...

A really good museum. Definitely worth the price of admission. Great Christmas history and background on the traditions of the season. I'm not a huge fan of things like this, but my wife insisted. However, in the end I was glad that I went.

I just loved this place. Being a Christmas freak who collects ornaments from all over the world, I loved seeing such an amazing array. Don't miss this!

We were in Rothenburg the week of Christmas 2012 so my husband and I wanted to visit this museum since we had pass on it on our earlier visits. It was truly charming and we enjoyed the historical aspects of it. I thought it was very well put together and a fun place to see.

Had fun learning about the history of Christmas and all it's traditions in a relaxed atmosphere. Also enjoyed perusing the gift shop afterwards. If you dig Christmas, you'll love visiting the German Christmas Museum. We went early in the morning to avoid the worst of the crowds.

It seemed like a tourist spot you would find anywhere in the US. We walked in, were immediately dissappointed and walked out. If you are into buying expensive Xmas ornamaments then maybe its worth your time but it was nothing more than a fancy shop to us. We did NOT go into the museum. Sorry...but it did nothing for us....
