I have visited this museum many times and always enjoy going there and finding something new. Wonderful arts and cultural exhibits but my favorite part of the museum are the displays of arms, weapons, cannons and military regalia. Leave time in your tour of the fortress to take in this museum.

The Baroque armory houses the Mainfränkisches Museum. Outstanding collection of Franconian art, among others the world-famous sculptures by Tilman Riemenschneider, pre-historic collection, testimonials of the Franconian wine culture, folklore section.
