it was great fun...I've never driven on the other side of the road, or a stick shift, but it was fine. The people guiding us in the front Trabi were patient and supportive... I reckon it'd be a great challenge on The Amazing Race...getting the teams to line up (with the leading teams having to wait for others to catch... More

We visited Berlin in early January and at that time of the year the weather doesn't allow to have long stroll in Berlin , so we decided the best way to discover the city was to drive a Trabant. A What ? coming back to England lots of friends ask this questions , but this car was such a dream... More

I’m glad that we had completed a walking tour of Berlin prior to taking the Trabi safari as if you are fortunate enough to be the driver your attention is fixed on controlling the throbbing 26 horse power of classic East German engineering through the streets of the capital and you’ll probably miss some of the sights. As it was... More

Hello Trabant Safari, we had the best time in your amazing cars. So fully restored and easy to ride through Berlin streets, it was amazing experience and we would not understand the Eastern-Europe flavor if there wouldnt be this tour! Thank you so much for a great time and we will definitely be back. Some of my friends tough about... More

We completed the one hour "Classic Berlin" Trabi-Safari on a recent trip to Berlin and found it the highlight of our visit. Although slightly petrifying at first considering that I was driving an unfamiliar car, on the other side of the road, that wasn't the most reliable through the centre of Berlin, after 5-10 minutes it was great fun. For... More

A total lack of bureaucracy led to us driving our own Trabant (well ours for an hour) in a convoy of other Trabbies. We visited many of the sites of Berlin whilst a tour guide in the lead Trabbie barked instructions and details of sites that we were passing to a radio system in our Trabbie. These are truly terrible... More

Kapitalism certainly hit Berlin, including the Eastern part. Trabi-world holds a plethora of Trabant, the (in)famous east german classic car. Created in the 60-ies and not much changed until the last one was produced mid 80-ies, this is a classic car. Make no mistake, it is small, has no options, gadgets as we know in nowadays cars but boy is... More

I was going to go for the Segway tour but when I saw a convoy of these Trabants driving past Checkpoint Charlie I just knew I had to do it. All the Trabis are relics of East Germany and are such fun to drive. You get to see all the major sights of Berlin and you even become a sight... More

I am a former resident of West Berlin and took some friends on a tour of Germany. We had 14 people in our group. We ended our trip in Berlin and I had booked a Trabi Safari as a surprise. No one was disappointed and it was one of the highlights of our Germany tour! The Trabis are relics of... More

A rare opportunity to drive a genuine Trabant – we found it hilarious to be the attraction, with fellow tourists at the Brandenburg Gate turning to take our photo rather than that of the masterpiece behind them. It provides an opportunity to see the city, although the tendency is to concentrate more on gear changes and direction that on the... More
