having been to berlin a couple of times now, I have fallen in love with he ampelmann. This shop has everything, from your usual keyrings, lighters and t-shirts to the more unusual such as vases, pasta and dog collars!! Worth a look if you're in the area.

Stopped in the store at Alexanderplatz. Bought salt/pepper shakers and a black cotton scarf. My daughter bought the gummies. Such a large selection of gifts. Be sure to buy in Berlin because waiting Hauptbahnhof or Airport the items are much more expensive.

This shop is based on the typical traffic light green man design from East Berlin . It was such a friendly design that even now all of Berlin has adopted it on its traffic light. This is probably one of the few East Berllin symbol which has conquered the West.
So the shop is full of usefull or less usefull...

the ampelmann is a great "stop/walk" icon design from east berlin, they took it as a symbol for the city, and created a full collection store. Great for presents.
