We planned a private tour with Bernhard right at the start of our Germany trip, and felt like we had made a friend by the end of our time with him. His conversational style, pacing, and breadth of knowledge was the perfect intro to Berlin, and we still can't stop talking about all the things he introduced us to. Our... More

We've been to Berlin many times over the last 10 years on business. The first few times, we've ventured out on our own and did the whole sightseeing thing. We saw it all- the museums, the monuments, attractions, etc. So when we had to go back this past February with a small group of first-time Berliners, we arranged a walking... More

I would strongly recommend Humboldt Tours and Bernhard for the following reasons. 1. Bernhard is extremely knowledgeable and a great story teller 2. Bernhard shares his own experiences which adds an important perspective 3. Bernhard is fast, accomodative and reliable which is of utmost importance for corporate events. Enjoy! Br Hans Didring More

Our guide Sebastian was very nice and well informed regarding Berlin's history and places to visit. We spent two days with him in a private tour of Berlin and the Palaces in Potsdam and it was great! He was very patient with the kids, even played with them, and his notion of Spanish was very well. Our chauffeur was also... More

We had visited Berlin by train via the ICE from Hamburg & had booked a private tour with Humboldt Tours. We were limited for time as we only had a day in Berlin. ps bad idea there is so much to do (apart from the history) - i'd rather we had stayed 2 days or so there. But none-the-less the... More

Bjorn from Humboldt tours answered my first email immediately & proceeded in a very professional manner to organise our personal tour for 4. As promised, we were picked up from our ship at Warnemunde & transported in a very comfortable people carrier to Berlin. Here we met our guide, Bernard who gave us a wonderful, interesting & informative day. Both... More

Our tour was brilliant. Our driver Marion, picked us up at the cruise ship in Nynashamn and drove us to Berlin in a lovely comfortable people carrier. We stopped enroute at a service station and on arriving in Berlin collected our guide Bernie. Both Bernie and Marion are lovely people and we really enjoyed spending the day with them. We... More

Right from our first enquiry with Bjorn through to arranging, booking and taking our tour the customer service was excellent. Bjorn arranged for the lovely Marion to collect us at Warnemunde port and drive us to Berlin where we picked up Bernhard, our tour guide. Bernie was well prepared with photographs of historical events/issues and had brilliant knowledge of the... More

As a group of 10, me and my friends travelled to Berlin in early June 2011. As a group we have an interest in the events of the first and second world wars, and we wanted to understand more about Berlin in the context of the 1930's, through the war years and, to an extent, reunification in 1989. I undertook... More
