Splendid view and well worth doing. Long queues build up, however, so get there early. Even then expect to wait forty minutes of so. More

Close to Alexanderplatz, the tower was constructed between 1965 and 1969,The original total height of the tower was 365 metres (1,198 ft), but it rose to 368 metres (1,207 ft) after the installation of a new antenna in the 1990s. the tower... I actually just saw this during my visit to Berlin in April 2012... not much to say except it does add to the Berlin skyline; whether it is good or bad is up to the viewer. More

During the night there was difficulty to see throughout the windows, and it's almost a nightmare for taking pictures of the city during the night. Inside the viewing floor there were also information about the history of berlin, buildings etc which was good, however, it was almost impossible to read because of the relatively small size of the font and... Too expensive and you can get better views from the Berlin Dom. Crowded and pricey, as it costs more than the entrance to any of the good museums. The access to the higher level (the revolving one) is only available to the restaurant customers. The windows at the standard level are inclined, not anti-glare and by night you won't get... More

We suspected that this attraction would get very busy so we arrived just after opening and we had no wait and our Berlin Card gave us reduced entry fee. The lift whisks you to the viewing gallery in 40 seconds and on stepping out the view is fantastic. One small complaint is that there are no notices with the attractions marked... More

Don't believe it when people are telling you you need to go up the Fernsehturm! First and foremost it is expensive (12 euro pp). You have to go through a rather complex period of buying your ticket and then waiting for your turn (which comes at a rather unknown moment). When your turn has come you need to go past... More
