After already visiting other historic sites throughout Berlin we thought that this might be quite interesting. We were left quite disappointed by the whole experience. The bunkers were filled with random war items collected over the years. I didn't find it overally informative and actually felt a little bored at times. The tickets for this do sell out early, so you need to get there before they open. Luckily, they are now so popular that they actually run more tours than they advertise on line or in their brochure, so even though the time we wanted was sold out, there was the same tour later on that had not been advertised.... I did tour 1 - the bunker / air raid shelter under Gesundbrunnen metro station. The tour was really unique. We took Tour 3 guided by Robin, it was fantastically done. The tour took us to the disused nuclear bunkers left from the Cold War. You have to get to the Gesundbrunnen stop which is easily managed on the U-Bahn or by taxi. The English tour at 1100 with Sean was excellent. You get really get a feel for the challenges of having to live for hours or days at a time there. The various rooms are in great condition and the artifacts are great.... More

We enjoyed the tour very much. We were on Tour 1 and our guide was entertaining, yet informative. Tour is great for both adults and kids. It lasted for about 90 mins. Booking tickets in advance on the same day is highly recommended. More
