No matter what the program, I have always been pleased. Not a Berliner(although I live here off-and-on), I have enjoyed the music program and my visits Philharmonie. High marks for culture and that it is kept so well in Berlin. This is always worth a visit and drink and discussion at a fine place afterwards-Perhaps the Havana Club over a... More

Concerts don't come any better than the one we attended at the Philharmonie. The hall is an architectural and acoustic wonder, and the orchestra is simply as good as they come. More

I'm not a classical music buff, but even I could appreciate the music, and the acoustics are sublime. Try and book if you can, though the tickets get sold out very easily. More

There's no way I can write an adequate review of the Berlin Philharmonic! A great orchestra, with an interesting history, a sound of its own, on the cutting edge of technology (with its 'Digital Concert Hall') that plays in a great space at the Philharmonie. Speaking of the Philharmonie, you can take a tour of the building for 3 Euros.... More

Every Tuesday, late morning, COMPLETELY FREE cobncerts are held. The atmosphere is very informal (people sit on the stairs or on the floor) and the orchestra (at least when I went) was wonderful. You can also eat and / or drink a beer during the concert, because the bar is open all the time :) It 'was a very nice... More

couldn't manage a concert but took the 1.30pm guided tour. excellent guide who spoke good English, German and French to our disparate group. Worth doing if you can fit in the time slot - you can't do a solo visit. More
