I am not a museum person, and with the exception of a handful of them, I don't like museums. But the altes museum was a nice one. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I just went today and thought it was a nice collection of Egyptian and classical pieces. Most striking of course is the bust of Nefertiti, but the other statues and busts from Egyptian antiquity from the same time period are also very interesting.
