Very cheap entry, although it would be nice if you could get a cheaper cup of coffee or tea.
The gardens were lovely, even on a grey day. Our favourite was the Asiatic Garden, a Middle Eastern/Islamic style, with cedar wood, and the Japanese Garden with its water features. The maze is also worth a go!

large park just outside of Berlin (kind of difficult to find on maps, so prepare your trip in advance, i suggest to take the U or S bahn then a bus).
beautiful in spring, nice colours, reminded me of past trips.
highly recommended. You can spend a whole afternoon there, or even bring your picnic.

Garten der welt is gorgeous and has something for everyone, perfect for those with an interest in gardening and plants and just perfect for families. Loads of space for picnics and play and lots of stalls to buy snacks and drinks - we now have a yearly pass as we'll definately we back time and again!

So worth going to - don't be put off by it's location in the middle of a really not nice area... This place is amazing. So many highlights I don't know which one to pick out! You can easily spend a whole day here. Enjoy tea in the Chinese Teahouse and get lost in the maze! :-)
