I am usually not that big a fan of post WWII art, but this museum did an excellent job of changing that view. It offers an opening exhibit that shows the effects of the war on the artistic psyche, and helps to make sensible the various movements that characterized modern art in both Europe and North America since then. This museum is around the corner from the Gemalgalerie and is included in the 3 day museum pass (an incredible bargain); they currently have a special exhibit of art though the 1940's that is astoundingly good. Don't miss it. More
