It's a little way out from the centre, but worth the S-Bahn and bus rides to get to Treptow Park and the memorial to Soviet war dead. I've been many times in Berlin, but never visited the Soviet memorial to the fallen soldiers in the Red Army in Treptower Park and is very large, in fact, the greatest monument outside Russia. The park is well kept, clean and tidy. Pathways are marked well. There are stalls where you can top up with food and drink before you have a great stroll along the riverbank.
