I wanted to see the Bode Museum especially. The museum building is very impressive, the entrance hall especially so. But then . . . only four toilets for ladies. Just imagine there is a public holiday and more than thirty visitors come to see the museum! You should have heard the comments. Well architects are probably only men. Next the... more

The Berlin guide books all state "if you only visit one museum in Berlin then make it the Pergamon". Since the recent opening of the Bode museum (October 2006) this needs to change. The Bode museum is THE one to visit if you are in Berlin. Breathtaking exhibits and stunning building. more
