November 2006; it was my first visit to Europe. Berlin was my last stop. Up to then, I was basically "winging" it through all the cities, having no idea whether I was missing important sites. The first morning in Berlin, I took the light rail into Alexanderplatz, I believe. I walked around the outside of the station, looking for breakfast.... more

We were only in town for a couple of days. The tour helped us to see everything we hoped to see and more. The guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. Excellent value more

My wife and I went on the Insider Tours "Famous Walk" on Tuesday, 10th November. The kick off point was outside McDonalds opposite the Zoo Station a few minutes walk away from our hotel. If you goto Berlin you need to take one of the Insider Tours. They conduct their tours in an insightful and enthusiastic way which is a real breath of fresh air. more

In October 2009 I went on Insider Tours 'Famous Walk' which covered the main attractions in Berlin. I was very impressed with the enthusiasm and knowledge of the guide. Just returned from a city break in Berlin. Took 3 tours with Insider:Sachsenhausen,The Famous and the Third Reich. Sachsenhausen, with Mike and about a dozen others was superb. The Famous, again with Mike but this time with around 45 others was good but suffered because of the numbers involved. Too many on the tour but I guess you cannot turn... more

We were visiting Berlin at the end of a long Holiday and really didn't feel like jumping on a 'tour' but the Insider Tour of Berlin was so different to anything we have done in Europe so far. I did two walking tours with Insider Tours during a recent visit to Berlin (The Famous Tour and Sachsenhausen). Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. A great way to spend a day! I would certainly do a tour with them again. more
