A short walk from the centre of town. The art was well displayed, staff were helpful. Good selection of artworks. Well worth visiting.

In November we saw an excellent exhibition with paintings of the Norvegian Edvard Munch. The Kunsthalle has an excellent collection of paintings, allways worth a visit. Be there early, so you avoid longer waiting to get in.

I was a little surprised at how the new addition made the old part look darker than it had looked before the new addition was added.

When we visited Kunsthalle, there was a remarkably well organized exhibition on Norwegian painter Eduard Munch. Apart from displaying works of this magnificent painter from the turn of the 20th Century, I think exhibition itself was succesful in itself. Kunsthalle had very good premises, things went smoothly and generally our visit was very enjoyable.
