I first experienced the Alte Elbtunnel on a quiet Sunday morning with nobody else down there. It was very eery and quiet like something from a cold war spy movie. Its not open to cars at weekends so it's quite safe to walk the length and admire the architecture and decoration. It's also nice and cool on a hot summer's... more
