This must be one of, if not the, oldest jazz clubs in Hamburg, and it seems not only well-established but as though you can always find live music! Their program calender is full!
The corner entrance, with steps leading to the basement from a quiet street in a fantastic neighborhood, you can't expect anything but a smoky, dark jazz club....

This is one of "the" few places in Hamburg where you still can listen to Jazz (mainly traditional). Having said that, I must tell you that isn't worth going there. If it's busy, you may find yourself standing like a sardine in one of several small smoke-filled rooms (maybe no longer today) with an overpriced beer in your hand, while...

not a great Jazz fan, but changed my mind listening to the Hedgehog Stompers, unfortunately mistook our times for them playing and only got an 1.5 hours of Ragtime Jazz,
Not a big place but great atmosphere.
