I love this little section of Frankfurt. It is conveniently located on the tram lines (11 & 12 are two of them) and is a bustle of activity during Weinnachtmarkt (Christmas Market). Frankfurt is a thoroughly modern city, but it has a long and rich history. The Romer, and surrounding buildings, are a perfect way to bring this history to mind. Unfortunately Frankfurt lost most of its old architecture in World War II, but this is one part of town that can give the visitor a glimpse of what it must have... more

It's a great place to visit. Lot of history to be seen plus a great shopping centre to go on a shopping spree! Loved it!! more
