Palmengarten was easy to find and had great underground parking right next to it. I think we would've enjoyed it more had it not been cold and rainy. There were many great pavilions with different tropical plants, nice big playground for the kids, a lake with a little man-made waterfall, and some lounge chairs by the lake (to enjoy on... More

Despite the building works we were not disappointed. Beautiful gardens and hothouses full of stunning and interesting plants. Well worth a visit. More

Dont let the entrance put you off. They are renovating and the entrance is a bit messy. go in, lovely gardens on a sunny day. Lots of hot houses with palms, natives to other countries, cacti etc. lots to see and wonder round. worth a few hrs of relaxation. they also have a nice little lake with boats to hire. More

This is a very reasonably priced attraction. We had a hard time finding the entrance when we got off the train, so it could be better marked. They have several buildings covering different climates all spread around the property, which I'm sure is lovely during the peak season. Unfortunately for us, there was some construction going on in one area.... More

The Palmengarten is a wonderful place to visit if you're traveling with kids. There is much to explore in the glass houses and outside, plus a wonderful playground. Highly recommended! More

I visited the Palmengarten in October 2011 and the seasonal chrysanthemum exhibit was quite nice, but spring/summer may be the nest time to visit. Make sure you check out the adorable ducklings that are free to wander around the grounds. More
