Awe inspiring building free to look around and a small fee to take the "horizontal lift" with a glass roof to the top for great views. The models of medievil Hannover, shortly after the war and today are very sad and make you realise why Hannover has mostly modern architecture. Hannover is known for its lush, green landscaping & park-like atmosphere. Nestled in the center of this charming city is Rathaus, or City Hall.
