What travellers are saying
- Iris EspinozaBridgnorth, UK4 contributionsAachen Cathedral is an awe-inspiring monument to Gothic architecture. Its four towers, vaulted ceilings, and Baroque chapels are a testament to its rich history and the skill of its builders. It is a must-see for anyone interested in European art and architecture.Written 25 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carlo HNijmegen, The Netherlands92 contributionsNice museum about the treasures in the Aachener Dom. A great collection of stones in all sorts of colors and sizes. - deathracerMontreal, Canada2,076 contributionsI visited the Aachen city hall (Rathaus) on a Saturday afternoon. It surprised me how few people were there. I assume most of the tourists were at the cathedral.
The entry price is modest, and I downloaded a free self-guided 2D tour on my phone, which allowed me to point my phone at various paintings and furniture to see the story behind them. The app is really well done and highlights specific elements of a painting and tells the details of only that element of the painting. The stories are in text. If accompanied audio description was included that would really be a nice improvement.Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The food is incredible, the stalls are stunning and the drinks are awesome. The lights and the decor are fantastic.Written 4 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Malack M2 contributionsI have never seen so much chocolate before. Lindt is a worldwide popular chocolate and going to their store is a special experience for all choco lovers. Be careful not to spend too much, it can easily happen even though their prices are very affordable and a lot cheaper than other stores.

- AMIA778Seville, Spain1,433 contributionsInteresting look inside a rich family's mansion that is kept like a time-capsule. Well-furnished with many interesting objects/household items, English info signage in every room, but lots of stairs. It's on the city's "6 for 6" museum card. Worth a visit.Written 20 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
