My wife and I went to Carolus Thermen in Aachen on the Ascension Day. Surprisingly, it was not crowded at all. It was clean, suitable for family with kids and most of all inexpensive (hourly rates, depending on the use of facilities). The Italian restaurant with views of the hot spring was very nice. All in all, we enjoyed our... More

Very relaxing, great facilities, very clean, good choice of saunas and quite spacious environment. Had a great turkish foam massage. The only down side is the very poor quality of the food. It's all fresh, but just very poorly prepared. More

We visited this for a few hours on a weekday morning. Good location, not too far from the city centre. Go prepared, as towels, robes, and sandals cost extra. We wanted to go to the spa (sauna and steam) but were made aware that these were nude or towels only areas- which was something we were comfortable with, however this... More

On a day trip to Aachen, we visited the Carolus Therman spa and had a nice time. We took public transport to the spa and the stop was clearly announced. It was a bit difficult to figure out when we arrived, but this is the deal: there are two areas. For 11 euros per person (this price is for 2.5... More

I really enjoyed these spa. There was everything you wish for in terms of bathing variety (roman or turkish types) - hot or cold, in-door or out-door, dressed or in the nude (the nude part cost more), buble, etc... During the week is less crowded - friday, saturday, sunday being more of a hanging out part of the town.. There... More

This is one of the best value for money attractions near Belgium. What you get: very well maintained, clean and modern facilities, cosy yet comfortable indoor and outdoor pools and other facilities such as hammam, sauna etc. Good quality and affordable food and beverages. Very good service, from the different restaurants, the pool guards, the treatment therapists etc. Speaking of... More
