This Basilica is close to Rhine promenade. Great place for meditation and prayer on Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended.

we did not plan to go there, went by chance looking for a shade :) and was worth it if you like such places to stop and mediate....

St. Lambertus is a beautiful old Catholic church with a great history. It's twisted steeple is amazing-looking, and the story of St. Lambertus and his martyrdom is tied to the history of the region and the eventual founding of modern Europe. This basilica is a place to visit.

This Basilika deserves a short visit during your walk in Altstadt. I'm not really enjoying visiting churches but this one is pretty.

The st. lambertus church is very nice. it has many great things about it including it's wonderful history. I recommend this to everyone who visits düsseldorf. :)
