If it is spring/summer and you want to go for long walks/cycling/outdoor sports, then this is the place.. It is good for people to take their kids too since it has a nice play area for kids. Vast lawns give it a complete scenic look and makes it good for a nice evening with family/friends.

The garden is very peaceful with lots of flowers and trees. You can find a pond in the middle of the park with ducks and swans. In the evening we saw rabbits!

Walked through here on the way to the old town. It felt safe and I say mounted Police. It was a really calm place within Dusseldorf away from the hustle of the Christmas Markets. The highlight for me was seeing the red squirrels and parrots which a lady informed us had escaped from Cologne zoo!!
