Well worth a journey. BUT bring binoculars because the hang has paintings high up. Almost everything at viewer's height is under glass AND you are kept at a distance by ropes. This is ridiculous. Good for museum staff, bad for visitors. More

Go when the weather is nice, go early in the morning and take it easy while strolling past the impressive fountains and statues. There's also a very famous museum inside the Zwinger which holds the very beautiful Sistine Madonna. More

Located in the city centre, nice garden areas, you can visit lot if the galleries. I would higly recommend. Entrance fee round 15 EUR. More

Only seen the paintings section of the old masters and walked around but have not seen the porcellan and weapons museum, but seeing the whole palace from outside and remembering what has been left in Feb 1945 after "Bomber" Harris lets one imagine what an incredible city this city was and will be again in near future. This place is brilliant. The gallery of paintings by old masters is worth every bit of the €10 entry fee, but you also get to see the porcelain collection too. Next time we come here we'll spend a whole day here. More
