The botanical gardens are part of Kiel University and so they are free to go round. The green houses are very good with tropical, desert and mediteranean areas amongst others, with banana, coffee and orange trees. Outside are lots of other plants and flowers which grow in the rather cold Schleswig-Holstein weather. Good for an hour or two's walk and... more
