Fantastic place and great birdwatching. A rather dry year so not as species around as usual but still we saw probably hundreds of kites, spoonbills, flamingoes , glossy ibis etc.- it's not the same seeing them in the zoo now! Highly recommend the tours with discovering donana.

We took the boat trip to Donana which visits both the nature reserve and the national park. Our guide was helpful and informative and explained the philosophy in conservation terms of having the reserve adjacent to the National Park
