We did the Tapas Walking Tour with Neil, instead of doing a ship sponsored shore excursion. I am very happy that we did. Neil is a great tour guide and Malaga is a lovely city. It is very easy to get to the meeting point from the cruise terminal and this was much better than a tour with 30-40 other... More

We did the Tapas tour and had a wonderful time. Neil's knowledge and humor made the time so interesting. He took us in and out of areas we would never have seen or know that there was a historical site. History is always interesting but walking in it ,seeing and touching it makes it come alive. I say take the... More

One would require days or weeks to learn all that Neil imparts in just 3 hours and some parts would be missed altogether. The behind the scenes visit to one the floats used in Holy Week processions provided a unique window into an unfamiliar element of the culture. Neil’s knowledge of history, politics and local lore was outstanding. I felt... More

We opted for the Tapas tour and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Neil is the most urbane, cultured and knowledgeable of hosts who introduced us to Malaga and Spain that the tourist would not always see and that not even the best guide book could match. The tour and the insight it gave proved to be the high spot of our... More

As all the others have said, Neil has an extensive knowledge of the history of Europe, with a focus on Spain in particular and of Malaga. He's a British ex-pat who has been living there for about a decade, and in that time he's become one of the locals. It's this take on the city that makes the tour so... More

I booked this tour as Malaga was one of the ports of call on a cruise holiday. As mentioned before Neil's local and historic knowledge was vast and the time spent on the tour seemed to go very quickly even though it exceded 3 hours. We elected to extend the tour to include the tapas element which I would thoroughly... More

I did the Tapas walk and loved it! I was on my own, so doing the tour allowed me to be shown around the city to all the best places I probably wouldn't have found on my own! The guide was very knowledgable and made the experience worthwhile. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was... More

Thanks to Neil for the very enjoyable walking tour. Helped us get the most out of our long weekend in Malaga. Much more useful than the tour bus alternative that we normally take in towns we visit. Highly recommended. More

We scheduled a tour with Neil as an afterthought and to have something to do during certain night in Malaga. We never thought we would have so much fun and see so many incredible things in one night. Without Neil it would have been impossible for us to know about the "tronos", go inside the University nor about the flooding... More

I have difficulty walking up and doen too many steps, but Neil found a route that made the walk as easy as possible with plenty of short stops whenwe needed them. As it was December we were able to see severeal Belens (Nativity scenes)often in buildings that are usually closed to the public. Neil is an excellent guide and really... More
