Worth a visit on a hot day to enjoy the cool green shade and occasional sprinklers which may catch you by surprise as they water the plants. The historic and thematic jardin botanico is worth a visit of at least half a day. On tuesday entrance is free from ca. 15:00 on. Summer closing time is 20:30. Tourist information told me it was impossible to go there by bicicle as the big park is situated next to the motorway on the north side of town.
