Unless you are strictly staying on in Malaga for your trip you should use the time to visit all the other amazing sites within an hour or so of Malaga (Alhambra, Cordoba, Ronda, and Seville). I love history and archeology and this was an impressive site. The only thing that spolit my experience, was the Spanish were rather inconsiderate not to provide full international reading translation on their museum boards through out the castle.
