Recently renovated, the Iglesia de la Encarnacion isone of the major attractions in Marbella. Outside a notice in various languages, including Hebrew, welcomes visitors. Inside it is large and sumptuous, as one would expect from a church dating back to 1485.

Our daughter got married in this church .It was attended by people worldwide and all ( 100% ) felt it was one of the most beautiful churches around. Situated near Orange Square so great restaurants nearby if yo uare there only for a visit.

This church is a beautiful peaceful place in the heart of the old town, it is especially good to visit during religious holidays like Three kings in January, Easter and fiesta de Virgin de la Carmen in July.

The iglesia de encarnacion is a beautiful huge church surely just missing out on cathedral status. The gold altar and vast array of relics are displayed amongst stunning arrangements of fresh flowers. Well worth a visit or and try not to miss a true Catholic Wedding celebrations which is an emotional experience!
