Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just spend maybe 30 minutes walking around this lovely designed area in Marbella and simply stroll through the free space then cross over the main road past the fountain and through the garden area and then you are in Plaza de Los Naranjos ..if you like authentic Spain, this is a tad touristic.. but its always "nice to sit and watch the world go by " is that a Q for a song ?
Happy place...If you find yourself in Marbella..
then visit just for a coffee or a beer or alternatively an al fresco lunch...

This is a short walk away that runs from the promenade to Alameda Park. It contains statues by Salvador Dali.

Not quite sure how often this occurs but went on a Monday at lunch and walked into the square covered in decorations, with a lot of food vendors and music. Fun to try different plates, drinks, and then stroll to old town Marbella.

Busy, crowded, full of restaurants, cafes. Beach areas. Nice to walk and sit down for a drink, or lunch/dinner. Nice to spend an afternoon.

This is the best way to find Old Town from the front. Don't miss the pretty fountain in the park which changes colour at night. Great for a photo.

I always use the parking underneath it whenever I go to the old town to shop or walk. Or go to the beach for a meal, coffee and sweets, walk, rent a scooter or swim in the beach. Its a great place just to chill and enjoy the sculptures and fountains.

Overall, I was not too impressed with Marbella. May not be fair, we were only there for about 3 hours plus dinner. This walk connecting Old Town to the beach was nice. The Salvador Dali sculptures were interesting.

This slowly descendant broad square is a miracle as you can sit along the kind of waterfalls with small fountains at both sides, and you cab admire the replica's of sculptures made by Dali all along the long boulevard downwards to the sea . It is a pleasure to look at every sculpture and let your fantasy go with Dali. Often there are also artists showing their paintings and other products. Sometimes very beautiful ones too. You can buy your future , still unknown, piece of superb art when you are lucky or just buy a wonderful memory about the time you passed bye in this beautiful city.

Avenida del Mar is an open space area linking La Alameda park with the Paseo Marítimo, which is the seafront promenade. As well as Alameda Park, located within the area includes impressive Dali sculptures; the Fuente de la Virgen del Rocio fountain; old town (Just across the road), seating areas and tapas. In summary, it's a nice area to visit with several other attractions being close by (As well as local bus services)
