I think of the Alhambra and Generalife as one attraction. You will need a lot of time to see it. People take a bus tour just to get tickets, and this is probably the best way, as you get a private guide. More

The generalife is great to visit just to see the magnificent gardens. They weren't quite in full bloom in early May but they were still gorgeous. More

This is the summer palace for the harem, set in lovely gardens with fountains ..... but a bit of an anti-climax after the Alhambra. So I would recommend seeing it first. More
