I toured the Casa de Pilatos on a rainy afternoon and had a wonderful visit. I was a bit pressed for time as it was late in the afternoon so I only toured the lower floors, the attendant at the front desk told me that the majority of the highlights were on the first floor. This is slightly out of the centre and you may be tempted to give it a miss. Don't. It is a beautiful palace with some of the finest architecture in Seville as well as a collection of Roman sculpture amid lovely gardens Access to the upper floor is only by guided tour every half hour and is well worth it... more

Visiting this old mansion is a MUST. Really. The family members are still living there ( the Duchess at least as i know). It has a great patio and amazing artwork. Entrance: 5 or 8 euros (ground floor or booth), it is open from 9-19h. They have a guided tor upstairs every 30 minutes. Siesta from 1-3pm. more

A lovely palace. Excellent examples of Mudejar architecture. Peaceful, beautiful. Go in the morning and miss the crowds - and so much nicer than the larger, grander Alcazar. more
