It was interesting to see an authentic bull ring, and visit the small museum where I learned about the art of bull fighting. It was not too expensive, with a short wait, and it was something to pass the time. The tour takes about 40 minutes, and the guide speaks Spanish and English. Don't expect to see any bulls though....

Against my better judgement, I went to a bullfight in Seville. The buzz around the stadium is like a Red Sox game. Scalpers and vendors including many selling cushions. The reason for the cushions is obvious when you get inside. You sit on brick benches and are packed in like sardines.

My first live experience of bullfighting. The people are ready to inform you so you can understand what you see is actually like a ballet with each group playing its part - the bullfighter is only one part. Very comfortable, well-organized.

We didn't go into the museum or the bull ring. Just looked at it from the outside. Beautiful atmospheric building opposite the river. Nice area to eat your sandwiches.

This plaza is probably the most famous plaza in Spain. Being older it is considerably smaller than Las Ventas in Madrid holding about 14,000. The atmosphere is great and more intimate with a very knowledgeable crowd. The building is beautiful and is built into other houses and shops in the area. Visit the museum and the ring and if you...
