I have visited lots of spanish cities and most of them have a nice historical centre, but Bilbao is something different. Is it because it's a Basque city? I don't know, but the Casco Viejo is very lively. It's not a museum. Young people are having drinks and Pinxtos (similar to Tapas) while chatting on the streets. There are lots... more

The old town in Bilbao is definetly worth a visit, well maintained and full of charm the city is really beautiful and an undiscovered gem.
