Nice place to go on a sunny day - but the weather sometimes changes very quickly so take extra clothing. Southern approach has very tight turns, climbs and descents making them 'challenging' so drive very carefully and marvel at the coach drivers as they must take up both sides of the road especially on bends. The village & valley is definitely worth the drive/trek, though some electricity lines spoil the views a little. The road from the south seems more tight and twisty than that from the north. If you can't find parking at the village, continue north for about 1 or 2km and you can park at the mirador/viewpoint cafe and walk down to... more

We went there by car and the roads got narrower and narrower. But once we arrived there it was worth it. A really beautiful scenery welcomed us. more

Masca simply took my breath away. One of the most beautiful, picturesque places I have ever visited.
