The musuem is located adjacent to the actual caves which are closed to the public. But, the reproduction is amazing. 40,000 reference points in every square meter were made to insure accurancy of the final result. I didn't know what I was for as I was just tagging along. What a magical experience. the caves are reproductions, you have a timed ticket to go in, there was no tour in English; captions on all exhibits and artifacts are in English, Spanish, etc More

We visited on a wet day, along with half the holidaymakers in Cantabria. We were given a timed ticket to visit the replica cave and spent the next couple of hours looking round the exhibition. It's not fun writing negative reviews but I feel this experience was dissapppinting. As with other caves in Europe it important to know you WILL NOT see the actual caves themselves.
