Large and well organised safarii park interestingly set amongst old mine works. Interesting range of animals and very visitor friendly. Staff were very pleasant and knowlegable. Sea lion show very entertaining and probably the best birds of prey show I have ever seen. A good experience overall. However, bring your own food - cafe very over-priced fast food. More

Very nice place, this is like a natural zoo placed in an awsome enviroment, that use to be an iron quarry. More

We thought that we could walk around the zoo much like in England but was soon corrected by staff that informed us that the road network within the zoo is 30Kilometers, make sure you have petrol! This place is not any old zoo.. The highlight of the day was watching the bears in the most spectacular enclosure I have ever... More

This is a mix of great scenery and an outdoor zoo. Weather is definitely a factor, we had overcast skies and risk of rain, but luckily no serious rain. Of course in better weather (and in the main season) maybe more animals would have been outdoors. The price is a little steep (21 Euros per adult, about half for kids),... More

I personally think Cabarceno is a must attraction for adults and kids, we've been several times, both as part of groups with kids, and just adults. The park is just beautiful, even without the animals! The area is an old mine, and the landscape and rock formations are just stunning, not to mention the view of Santander which you get... More

A huge park on the site of an old mine, Cabarceno is the best zoo/wildlife park around. With the animals in huge realistic enclosures, It give more sense that we are enclosed and not the animals. but you can still get quite close to the animals. Its good value for money and if you are staying local in Santander, is... More
