Especially glass mosaics are very breathtaking. Visit the cathedral at the beginning or end of the day, so you'll find less hustle and bustle. More

Walls are about 80% stained glass which makes the inside of this cathedral the most beautiful we've seen throughout Europe. More

I loved the cathedral and the stunning stained glass windows. I would have like more description in the information recorded voice set which you were given to hold with commentary in English(other languages available). There were lots of statues, pictures etc which I would have liked to have known more about. Also perhaps a small free guide booklet offered to... More

We have seen several cathedrals on our trip around Castilla y Leon, but this one, whilst not the largest or most magnificent was the most beautiful - the stained glass is extraordinary, giving the inside a lightness and colour that is quite memorable. More

The only fault I can think of is that the tour takes about an hour or possibly more if you listen to all the information. Closes at lunchtime as do most things in Leon! More

They charge you to let you in. I think payment should be voluntary and I refuse to pay to see the inside of a church. You can, however see part of the inside as you step inside to the cashier stall. Very beautiful stained glass windows and rosette! More

Leon has two cathedrals, one has plenty of reviews already. I cannot add anything else to what other people have already said. The other is close by in El Barrio Humedo. For some reason it does not appear in Trip Advisor, but to anyone that is from Leon (I am) you can ask about La Bicha and they will point... More

This cathedral has the second-most stained glass windows of any cathedral in the world. The rose windows are especially beautiful. It is an impressive and interesting place to visit - set aside a couple of hours to explore. More
