Beautiful inside and out. Stunning from far away and up close. MUST SEE! Be sure to climb the tower for fabulous views. more

Alcazar castle is spectacular with the cliffs, streams surrounding the castle making it breathtaking. The Alcazar castle is the source of inspiration for Walt Disney and this fairytale castle is a must-see when you visit Segovia. This magical castle served as one of the inspirations for Disney's castle, as seen by the gray turrets. The castle rooms are scarcely furnished, but have beautiful stained glasses, unique furniture (e.g. Isabel and Ferdinand's throne) and beautiful Mudejar style ceiling.
