Took tour to Segovia and Avila and had wonderful time. Good tour guide and in spite of the rain had great experience. The castle was was well maintained with some period furnishings. But being on a tour there was not really any time to shop so no souveniers from here. More

We loved our time in Segovia, after the aqueduct this would be the next most visited location, it is a nice easy walk from the aqueduct, through the paved streets to the other side of the city where the Alcazar is found, of course you can stop along the way and pick up a few treats from a local baker... A beautiful castle that has been extremely well preserved/restored. Ornately designed rooms with beautiful ceilings in many of the rooms. A must see in Segovia. There was also much historical military equipment from Medieval time until about the 1800s. More
