The historic value of the four buildings which make up the museum along the street reinforces the worthy character of the visit. The main building, Saint Gregory´s College, is one of the most singular examples of the architecture in the 15th century, next to the Palace of the Marquis de Villena, the House of the Sun and the church of St. Benedict the Elder. « less

An exceptional collection of Medieval art in the heart of a beautiful city. Get away from over crowded touristy places and discover the real heart of Spain! Some of the statues and artworks are so incredibly beautiful you can image how they would prompt an emotional and religious reaction in the audience. A great place to visit in Valladolid. More

Famous sculptors represented are Gregorio Fernandez, Juan de Juni, and Alonso Berruguete. Very impressive are three gilded altarpieces that are found in the museum. Also very impressive is... More

This was wonderful. I was brought here by friends and had no idea what was coming. The best sculpture collection in Spain. Take your time, and be sure to make sure you see the crech - it is in a separate area and you will have to ask for directions. More
