Our small groups are the closest you can get to independant travel without actually going it alone. Max size of just 8 people, and specially made itineraries, which take you way off the boring old tourist routes, make us the best way to discover the secrets of this region. From the Pyrenees to the Costa Brava, from Montserrat to the wine country, we do it all. « less

Last week we had an excellent tour with Explore Catalunya to Montserrat and a cava winery in the Penedes region. Our guide, Luana, was knowledgeable and friendly. We booked the tour through Viator and called Explore Catalunya to reconfirm that we would be attending. The entire process was seamless and the tour was one of the best we've ever taken.... More

My wife and I took this full day small group tour from Barcelona. It was, bar none, the best tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide, Andrew, was the most well informed, engaging guide who exhibited a profound passion for the subject matter. Limiting the tour size to 15 allowed us to enjoy each other's company while being nimble... More

I was on the tour with Sandy - the review previous to this one, so no need to repeat what she said, just to reaffirm it! Not only did Andrew buy us coffee, but also sought out the 'best' xoxu's (local pastries - a type of churros - but much better!) in our last town for a treat after the... More

We booked a full day trip north of Barcelona to see some of the countryside. Our first stop was a Roman city, complete with walk-able wall for views. Gerona was a charming town and quite lively on Saturday. We were lucky enough to see dancers in front of the church too. Our guide was superb. He treated us to coffee... More

The friend I was travelling with and I went on two different trips. In both cases the guides were outstanding. I went on the Tarragona and Sitges trip with Adrian. Very interesting although a little short on content. I would have liked more time in Tarragona and could have skipped the intermediate stop. Our guide went out of his way... More

Absolutely fantastic tour! Truly insightful guide - knew the city, regional history, hidden gems and shared it all. I recommend this tour to anyone even considering it. More

We decided to take the Salvador Dali museum,Dali house and Costa Brava trip. We were warned by our funtastic guide Andrew that it would be a very long but very rewarding day. He was not wrong. It really was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona. Great to get out of the city for a day and experience one of... More

I booked through Viator and this was company for several of my tours and there was nothing but hassles for 2 tours. One tour was overbooked and not told until I showed up even after confirming with company--there were 7 in a group taking priority even though they booked last minute and I booked several weeks in advance. They tried... More

It's amazing how when you read a bad review, it can effect you so personally. We go so far out of our way to make our tours the highlight of somebody's holiday, so when we fail it really hurts us. What really happened is this. The lady in question was booked on a tour that was overbooked by one. She... More

Oh man ! What a trippy trip ! My sister and I survived the Dali triangle trip with our amazingly surreal personal guide Andrew. First of all this was a suprise birthday treat for me so from the start it could only get better. I love Dali and to be able to visit the museum in Figueres was an absolute... More
