One of the main characteristics of this genuine flamenco club, or tablao, has been its staging of different programmes by the major talents of every era. « less

Food: The food was exemplary of the local cuisine with lots of variety from shellfish to chicken legs to rabbit to local desserts. The waiters were very polite, friendly, bilingual, and catered to all needs. All drinks included from sodas to alcohol. We had plenty of time to eat before the show and were not rushed. Show: The show was... More

My wife and I have been coming to the Cordobes for many years and we love it. We have seen flamenco in Granada, Sevilla, Caernarfon y Bangor in North Wales!!!! and we can say that it is very good. Last week (21st May) , we decided to have the meal and we were very happy with the service, selection of... More

We got the drink only reservation, and although our seats weren't the best, we were able to get a great view of the stage. And wow were we impressed! The dancers had four performances that night, ours was number 3, and they had such passion, energy, and a clear love for what they were doing. It showed, and it was... More

Do not go for the food. We arrive 20 minutes early and were told to return in 15 minutes. We returned in 15 minutes and when we entered the dining area it was full of people who were eating. We were offered leftovers and cold food. When I complained a waiter came around with a tray of fish. This dinner... More

In all fairness, touristy areas such as La Rambla are often notorious for mediocre to bad food. This, however, may be the worst! I have to admit to being a "foodie," (and i should have known better than to even think of dining here) but I wanted to see the show and read many places that show seat locations are... More

Flamenco is supposed to be danced in cave-like taverns, where the sound of the dancers' feet and the passionate singing echoes off the walls. It is powerful and intimate, up-close and personal. You get that real flavor here. The performers--not just the dancers, but the guitarists and the singers, too--are extremely talented. The skill level is top quality. They performed... More

Dear, Caro, I'm really impressed by your report. I couldn't explain it better!!! The information you give is an excellent descrption. The only comment I would add to yours is that Cordobes is not an ordinary "Tablao" (that's this kind of cave where is necessary to go to see authentic flamenco). In Cordobes -as anybody can see at our web... More

We paid 25 Euros each for the first show of the night, plus a drink, on the 1st of May late afternoon. I was told to turn up with my wife at 6.45pm. We did. We waited in the street with the others. Our name was called and we went forward. I could not understand what this was all about. Neither... More

Dear Frank, I'm a bit surprised that you have been so harsh on us because, as you admit, you enjoyed the show. I'm sorry the circumstances around it didn´t exceed your expectations. I'm sorry we were so busy that day you went to Cordobés, but the fact is that our Tablao is very successful and popular, because we always have... More
